Heblaw fod yna broblemau mawr efo’r tywydd dros nos, bydd yr ysgol ar agor yfory. Mae llwybrau wedi cael eu clirio a’u graeanu – os gwelwch yn dda a wnewch chi gadw at rhain. Nid ydym wedi gallu clirio llwybr o amgylch y ddwy iard ar hyn o bryd, felly maent yn dal o dan eira meddal. Felly wrth ollwng eich plentyn wrth y dosbarthiadau yn y bore a wnewch chi gymryd gofal arbennig ar yr iard. Os oes well gennych ollwng eich plentyn yn y brif fynedfa, bydd croeso i chi wenud hyn.
A wnewch chi sicrhau fod eich plentyn wedi ei wisgo / gwisgo yn addas ar gyfer y tywydd – cot, het menig, esgidiau addas. Mae croeso i’r disgyblion ddod a phar o wellingtons mewn bag i newid iddynt. Rydym yn gobeithio y caiff y disgyblion gyfle i fynd allan i chwarae yn yr eira amser chwarae a chinio, ond disgwyliwn iddynt ymddwyn yn gyfrifol e.e. peidio a thaflu eira at ei gilydd; gwerthfawrogem pe baech yn eu hatgoffa o hyn.
Mae’r maes parcio o dan eira ac yn debygol o fod yn llithrig yn y bore, felly gofynwn i rieni, gan gynnwys dalwyr bathodyn glas i beidio parcio yno i leihau’r risg o ddamweiniau. A wnewch chi basio’r neges yma ymlaen i unrhyw neiniau / teidiau, aelodau o’r teulu os gwelwch yn dda.

Happy New Year! We hope that everyone is well and have enjoyed the holidays.
Unless there are big problems with the weather overnight, the school will be open tomorrow. Paths have been cleared and gritted on the school grounds – could you please keep to these. We haven’t yet been able to clear a path on the two yards, so they are still covered in soft snow. Due to this, could you please take extra care on the yards when dropping your child off by the class in the morning. If you prefer to drop your child off in the main entrance, you’re welcome to do so.
Please ensure that your child has suitable clothes for the weather – a coat, gloves, hat and suitable footwear. The pupils are welcome to bring a pair of wellingtons to change into should they wish. We are hoping the the pupils will be able to go out to play in the snow at break and lunchtime but we expect them to behave in a responsible manner i.e. not to throw any snow at each other; we’d appreciate if you could reiterate this to your child.
The car park is under snow and is likely to be slippery in the morning so we are asking that no parents park there, including those with blue badges, to lessen the risk of any accidents. Could you please pass this message on to any grandparents / members of the family etc.
