Bwyd Bore a diod / Morning snack and drink

Rydym wedi sylwi ar ers dechrau’r tymor fod yna bob math o fyrbrydau yn cael eu gyrru i mewn gan rieni efo’r disgyblion ar gyfer bwyd bore, gan gynnwys creision a bariau o siocled, yn enwedig i lawr yn rhai o’r dosbarthiadau ieuengaf. Hoffem eich hatgoffa mai ffrwythau neu lysiau y dylid eu gyrru i mewn efo’r plant a dwr i’w yfed, nid ‘squash’ neu ddiodydd eraill. Cofiwch fod y disgyblion o Meithrin i Bl 2 yn cael cynnig llaeth am ddim ar gyfer ei bwyd bore. Mae’r tafleni isod yn eich hatgoffa o ofynion yr ysgol a Llywodraeth Cymru am fyrbrydau a diod mewn ysgol.

Rhieni Meithrin – a wnewch chi sicrhau fod enw eich plentyn ar gynhwysydd y byrbryd os gwelwch yn dda.

We have noticed since the beginning of term that all sorts of snacks are being sent in with the pupils for morning snack, including crisps and chocolate bars, in particular in some of the younger classes. We’d like to remind you that only fruit or vegetables should be sent in with the children and water to drink, not squash or any other drinks. Nursery to Year 2 children get the offer of free milk for their morning snack as well. The information sheets below remind you of the school’s and Welsh Government’s expectations on snacks and drinks in schools.

Nursery parents – please ensure that your child’s name is on the snack’s container.
